Position Title: Environmental Service/Cleaner

Employment Status: Part-time: Hours: Flex/TBD: 20 hours (4-5 days per week)

Reports to: Building & Grounds Administrator.

Position Overview: The position's goal is to assist the staff and congregation in ensuring that the church facilities are safe, clean, orderly, and ready for use at all times.

Primary Responsibilities:

Administrative:

● Assist the Building & Grounds Administrator (BGA) with planning the church facilities cleaning schedule.

● Assist the BGA in maintaining an appropriate inventory of cleaning materials and general supplies.

● Provide accurate reports of hours worked.

Facilities Management:

● Maintain the cleanliness of the building interior.

● Maintain cleanliness of the building’s exterior areas.

● Support the Building & Grounds Administrator with light-duty, facilities related tasks, as needed.

General:

● Assist with facility related event set-up and breakdown when needed.

● Help ensure the safety of all people who use the building, as well as the safety of Cason UMC property and grounds.

● When required, work with volunteers assisting with facilities and events related tasks.

Position Requirements:

Physical Demands:

● Ability to perform routine physical tasks in a timely manner

● Able to lift 25 pounds

● Possess the ability to climb stairs without assistance

Qualifications::

● Experience in commercial janitorial services and infection control procedures

Pay: From $1,040.00 per month
