Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing Underground Storage Tank program projects from start to closure, including associated project budgets, timelines, client and regulatory meetings mentoring Junior staff.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, environmental science or related field.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) credential. TN Credentials preferred but if not current, must be able to obtain within 6 months.
  • Must locate to either Nashville or Memphis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office® and Teams.
  • Excellent task management, written and verbal skills are a must

Technical Requirements:
  • Must have UST petroleum experience (minimum 5 years) in any State, TN experience a plus
  • Must have worked in a State reimbursement program (most of the states have a program)
  • Must be able to manage staff and manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Must be able to track budgets and deadlines
  • Experience with implementing and overseeing soil, groundwater and air sampling
  • Excellent leadership and client management skills
  • Effective technical writing, strong oral communication, presentation and time management skills.
  • Exhibits attention to detail, and able to work under periodic time constraints.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local environmental assessment and remediation regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to design field sampling programs, manage multiple subcontractors, as well as, interpret geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from contaminated sites.

Other miscellaneous qualities:
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for short periods of time.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines for planning and executing work in a safe manner
