Environmental Mold Consultant

Bower Group, LLC is a leading environmental testing and consulting company dedicated to providing comprehensive services to assess asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality. We are seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Project Manager with a specialization in indoor air quality and microbial investigations to join our team.

This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to engage in fieldwork, office tasks, and the flexibility to work from home on select days each week. Responsibilities and Requirements:

The available Environmental Mold Consultant role at Bower Group, LLC will primarily be responsible for conducting comprehensive mold assessments within residential and commercial properties. The assessments will comprise of visual inspections, moisture evaluations using handheld instrumentation, and microbial sampling. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, analysis, and recommendations for clients.
• Project Management: Oversee and manage projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.
• Data Analysis: Analyze laboratory results and correlate findings to assess the extent of mold contamination.
• Client Interaction: Communicate inspection results and recommendations to clients professionally and address any questions or concerns.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and subcontractors to ensure the completion of multifaceted projects.
• Customer Service: Given our customer-centric approach, the capacity to engage with clients in a professional, helpful, and effective manner is essential for this role.
• Asbestos Knowledge (a plus): Possess a basic understanding of asbestos and its identification, which will be an advantage in certain projects.
• Sales Experience (a plus): Ability to effectively promote and sell our mold inspection services to prospective clients.

Basic Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following basic requirements:

• Basic knowledge of the mold industry, including inspection, sampling, and remediation procedures.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment used in mold inspection.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and reporting skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a group setting.
• Ability to carry up to 40 pounds of equipment and materials.
• Have the ability to walk, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time.
