Environmental Manager - Nbr

Role and Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, and implementing environmental strategies and policies throughout the organization
• Conducting environmental research
• Staying up to date with news in environmental issues, such as natural disasters and endangered species
• Raising awareness throughout the organization of current environmental issues
• Evaluating current environmental strategies and adjusting them accordingly
• Monitoring resource use to ensure it complies with waste management and recycling policies
• Analyzing environmental monitoring data and preparing compliance reports
• Providing training to employees to ensure their understanding of environmental policies
• Coordinating or attending public hearings, conferences, and events on environmental issues
• Collect and/or manage critical environmental data/records, including but not limited to: Caustic and VOC scrubber logs, former cleaning logs, water consumption data, piezometer readings, waste manifests, laboratory analytical reports, and DEQ correspondence.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• College degree in environmental management, environmental policy, environmental engineering, or a similar field required.
• 5+ years of work experience in environmental related capacity required.

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
