- Support achievement and implementation of OSHA and other regulatory agency requirements.
- Lead incident/injury investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Educate and train project team members in safety requirements, best practices in incident preventions.
- Perform health and safety inspections, assessments, and audits
- Coordinate, review, and monitor non-routine work activities that have the potential to adversely impact operations, the environment, or Health & safety.
- Develops project plans and timelines based on strategic EHS goals and objectives.
- Partner with departments to recognize hazards and prevent injuries.
- Conduct training including but not limited to new hire orientation, compliance, forklift, scissor lift, LOTO, Machine guarding, chemical hygiene, etc.
- Administer EH&S programs driving participation, data entry, evaluation, and reporting.
- Maintain required records for safety training, safety inspections, and other EHS tasks.
- Answer questions and assist associates, supervisors, and contractors on EHS related matters.
- Manage safety shoe and prescriptive eyewear programs.
- Assist with preparation of hazardous waste shipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 5 - 7 years of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) experience and/or chemical safety in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, or Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of environmental, health and safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations.
- Experience conducting incident evaluations to identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Two years of general industry safety experience strongly preferred.
- OSHA 30 General Industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Continuous improvement approach to processes
