Work is primarily performed in the field at locations around the KC metro with occasional overnight travel to surrounding states. All non-field work is performed remotely.
Summary – Environmental Field Technician – Mold, Asbestos, Lead Inspections: In this position, you would play a key role in performing inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to detect and assess potential issues essential to the well-being of residents, employees, and customers. Experienced professionals will work autonomously or in small teams. On-the-job training is provided to have the opportunity to progress your career as you gain experience.

Responsibility Summary:
- Assist in performing inspections and collecting data through the use of specialized equipment.
- Perform industrial hygiene sampling.
- Asbestos, lead, and mold inspections.
- Communication of field observations and analytical results with clients.
- Prepare the site for inspection and clean up equipment following inspections.
- Following proper safety procedures on all work sites.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
- Document work completed using field notes and tablets.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualification Summary – Field Technician - Water System Inspections:
- High school diploma or equivalent, associates or beyond preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities.
- 2+ years of environmental consulting experience preferred or experience in hands-on outdoor positions.
- Willingness and ability to travel with occasional overnight stays.
