The EHS Specialist - Environmental Engineer is responsible forproviding technical support in all areas related to regulatory requirements regarding air emissions and air permitting processes under TCEQ regulations. Utilize and maintain existing emission tracking database programs, provide issue resolution and conduct educational/training programs. Provide technical and regulatory support in all environmental areas and assist in related EHS issues. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the area of air regulations and provide advice to the EHS Manager. Develop and maintain working relationships with Regulatory agencies.

Essential Functions

• Ability apply EPA/TCEQ air regulations in a manufacturing setting, including registrations and permit determinations,
• Maintain existing air emissions database, modify as needed and produce regulatory required compliance reports,
• Provide air permit impact analysis on the introduction of materials/process and provide related documentation,
• Develop & produce required regulatory reports (Tier II, etc.),
• Demonstrated effective project management skill,
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills,
• Administer tracking programs and recordkeeping systems,
• Conduct internal EHS training programs,
• Provide support in all EHS related areas and issue resolution.

Required Education and Experience

• BS or equivalent in related science/engineering
• 5 years prior experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
