Your Responsibilities
As an Environmental Engineer for John Deere Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide technical and process support to the manufacturing facility in Davenport to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collect, analyze, and report environmental data related to compliance and sustainability for the facility.
- Support the facility ISO 14001:2015 certification requirements including performing internal audits to verify conformance with EMS standards and applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Identify and manage projects related to environmental risk reduction and operational sustainability.
- Develop and deliver relevant and effective training to employees.

What Skills You Need
- Work experience or internship as an environmental professional.
- Knowledge of Environmental Engineering topics and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and demonstrated team collaboration skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience working in the environmental compliance field at a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with ISO14001:2015 Management System or a similar management system.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Power Apps and SharePoint
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
