- Work closely with SRC team and senior EPA scientists to organize, review, and summarize large complex data sets that will be used for human health and ecological risk assessment projects for Superfund and related hazardous waste sites throughout the U.S.
- Provide technical review of human health and ecological risk assessment or other site-related data with respect to scientific validity and compliance with Agency guidance and identify data gaps, trends, and inconsistencies.
- Contribute to human health and ecological risk assessments and chemical hazard characterization reports.
- Work with multidisciplinary project teams to address complex research needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific field (e.g., environmental science, biology, biochemistry) with 0 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated technical writing and oral communication skills is a plus.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel. Experience with Microsoft Access and in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R) is a plus.
