Form of workKimley-Horn is looking for upcoming or recent Engineering graduates to join our Orlando, Florida (FL) office on our Transportation Planning and Traffic Operations Team!
• Technical support for Traffic Impact Studies
• Crash analyses and traffic safety evaluations
• Long range transportation analyses
• Traffic signal retiming and operational assessments
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Evaluate development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulations.
• Prepare planning and land use studies.
• Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies.
• Gain exposure to diverse project experiences as we provide services to both the public and priva

• BS Civil Engineering by Summer 2023, preference for a focus on transportation
• Preference for experience with:
o Preparing and/or reviewing traffic impact studies for small and large projects
o Preparing parking studies
o Preparing site access and circulation studies
o Using Synchro, VISSIM, and/or other traffic analysis software applications
• Communicating technical thoughts clearly and concisely
• Works well within a team, including both taking direction and supervising
• Excellent technical writing skills
