SalaryMiller Plastic Products is currently looking to help create a career path for motivated individuals who would like to become a Plastic Fabrication Technician! Our ideal candidate considers themselves a perfectionist and is detail-orientated. Our fabricators build many different types of fabrications for almost every industry on the planet. You will be making anything from small enclosures such as cabinets or boat-holding tanks, or you may be on a team building a massive 30-foot-tall tank for chemical processing. Every project is different and unique, keeping your day-to-day exciting and new. We will build an excellent skill base for you in plastic fabrication. You will learn to fabricate many different types of plastic. Each plastic has its place for what its use may be.
Yes, Training is PAID to start a career as a Plastic Fabricator, and we will supply all the basic tools you need to start! Once you are rolling you may desire more tools or want to start a tool collection of your own. If that is the case we have a Tool Buying program where we will contribute to your purchase and let you finance them with us.
Qualifications:
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have good basic math and measuring skills
- Understand fractions and be able to use a tape measure
- Have good communication skills
- Being a team player with a driven work ethic and positive attitude
- Mechanical abilities and experience with general power tools desired but not required
- Must be motivated to learn and advance
- Attendance and punctuality are essential to the longevity of the role
- Driver's license
- Able to work overtime (Rare)
