Entry Level Make Ready/Porter/Maintenance Technician

Job Duties:

Responsible for ensuring the overall appearance of apartment units and grounds are maintained in accordance with Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies/procedures:

• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, including the pick up of grounds, painting building and breezeway exteriors as needed, cleaning and maintaining pool, etc.
• Responds in a quick and courteous manner to resident requests for maintenance service, troubleshoots the source of difficulty, and takes appropriate action to repair
• Completes the make ready and turn process including painting and carpet cleaning on vacant apartments for new resident move in
• Follows established procedures for accessing, removing, and restocking tools, supplies, equipment, and other materials for the service shop
• Walks with pest control using pest control checklist, pressure wash breezeways, performs signage repair, paints exterior fences, buildings, and other necessary items
• Completes ongoing industry training

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in apartment make ready/porter preferred, but not necessary, as we will train you!
• 6 months customer service experience
• Team player with positive attitude
• Goal oriented and solution focused
• High School or GED required
