Entry Level Forklift Driver/General Warehouse Laborer (New Pay Rate)

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking hard working, motivated, and energetic individuals to work for a wood pallet logistics site. The positions available under General Production Laborer are Pallet Sorter (manual), Box Sorter, RPC Sorter, and Material Handler. The position requires constant standing, bending, stooping, walking, and the ability to lift and handle material with weight up to 75 pounds or more frequently (if working with Pallets) or 35 pounds frequently (if working with Boxes or RPCs). This position does require the ability to do repetitive work.

Operate a Sit Down (Electric ) Forklift to move Pallets into Trailers.

Work Schedule: Can vary as we fill our open positions.

• A1 Shift: 4am-230pm (Sunday thru Wednesday)
• B1 Shift: 4am-230pm (Wednesday thru Saturday)
• B2 Shift: 330pm 2am (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday)

Requirements:

• No Forklift experience needed, We train and certify on site
• Must be 18 years of age to work in a warehouse
• Must be able to lift 70-100 pounds throughout the day

Essential Functions Statement(s):

• Responsible for accuracy of load sheets
• Ensure that daily inspections of forklift and checklist are completed.
• Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures.
• Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules are subject to change to meet company needs and business requirements.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred

Sit-down ForkliftExperience: No prior experience necessary, we will train and certify on site.
