Entry Level Environmental Field Technician

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project execution and be able to immerse themselves in hands-on field work. This exciting opportunity is based out of our North Columbus, GA location.

As an Environmental Field Technician, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, with a particular focus on subsurface injection technologies and assisting with drill rig operations. Key responsibilities for this role include planning and preparation of equipment for upcoming projects and successful execution of the fieldwork. Don’t worry, no experience is necessary since we provide all the training to make you successful. You will have the chance to gain comprehensive knowledge in the environmental remediation field and take on leadership roles in project execution.

This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly pay starting from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour. While traveling our company provides compensation that surpasses competitors by providing a generous daily allowance, ensuring that employees have the financial support they need for comfortable and seamless business travel experience. Primary duties include:

· Responsible for efficiently mobilizing equipment to jobsites and overseeing proper site set-up.

· Performing routine maintenance on equipment.

· Keep shop area organized with standard inventory.

· Loading trucks and trailers for assignments.

· Logging data accurately in field logs.

· Executing field work per design.

· Provide exceptional customer service every step of the way!

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to handle tasks that may require lifting up to 100 lbs.

· Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment desired.

· Basic Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.

· Experience towing trailers.

· Ability to perform light mechanical maintenance.

· Ability to work independently or as a team.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and techniques.

· Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

· Clean background and a clean 3-year motor vehicle record required!

· Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· Reliable personal transportation to North Columbus, GA

Schedule:

Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work based on project needs. Expect hours ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week.
