Entry Level - Electrician Helper Construction

GBS Electric, LLC is looking for a hardworking, motivated Laborer to join our team. If hired, you’ll be an integral part of our crew, helping support construction workers on underground utility construction projects.

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Operating smaller tools such as jackhammers & shovels.
• Prepping materials for use such as conduit & fittings.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Digging trenches, compacting earth, backfilling holes, installing underground conduit, pulling in large conductor wire & clean up around the site.
• Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• South Houston, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
