Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Data Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to kickstart their career in the field of data engineering. As an Entry Level Data Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced team to develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and other data infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior Data Engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and design appropriate data solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Design and implement data models to support business requirements and analytical needs.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing existing data pipelines and processes for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Recent graduate eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT) authorization.
• Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Basic understanding of distributed computing systems and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
