Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Entry Level Construction Engineer for our Transportation Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO). The Candidates will be working on Transit/Rail and Bridge/Highway Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO).
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Under direct supervision, perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
- Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
- Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
- Spend large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related field.
- Valid U.S. Driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CADD, HCS, Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoades, InSite, and GIS is preferred.

- Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (New York locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $33.65 - $39.90.
