If you have graduated (or close to) from refrigeration school and you are still living at your parent(s) home in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Lane & McClain has an opportunity for you. With one of the highest hourly rates for entry level refrigeration technicians, you can be exposed to the most aggressive opportunities in the metroplex. Our technicians don't have to climb into attics or spend much time on roofs. Our equipment is more technical than standard HVAC service work, but you are supported with a robust training environment.

To qualify, you will only need to make a passing grade on our aptitude test, pass our required drug screening, and display a serious motivation to learn, Lane & McClain will be your best career decision.

Starting Wage: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year

Commercial Kitchen Equiment Technician:

At Lane & McClain Distributors, Inc. we sell, service, and install complex food and beverage equipment and are looking for people who want to learn and grow with our company. We have been in business for 70+ years and are the Taylor Equipment distributor for the North Texas territory. We are looking to hire immediately. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screening and a background check. This is a full-time position. It is not seasonal or part-time.
As a Service Technician, you will deliver, install, provide preventive maintenance, diagnose issues and provide resolutions for our lines of Commercial Kitchen Equipment.  This equipment you will service includes commercial grills, ovens, and soft serve, shake, and frozen cocktail equipment.  Good customer relations skills are required. Candidates must have working electrical and refrigeration knowledge.  After successful completion of the 8-week equipment orientation program and demonstration of required skills, your role will become Junior Service Technician. You then are on a career path to the role of Service Technician and ultimately Senior Service Technician.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and understand technical material
• Basic refrigeration knowledge helpful
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Some overnight travel

Desired Skills:

• Technical School/degree preferred
• Bi-lingual language capability is a plus
• Commercial Foodservice equipment repair experience a plus
