General Description
The ideal candidate will have the desire to contribute immediately to the development of a premier regional Consulting practice. RubinBrown Consultants are instrumental in providing our clients with the RubinBrown Experience, which includes a distinctive blend of talent, skill and character. Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology or related degree
- Plans to pursue credentials in area of expertise (e.g. CFA, CPA, CFE, CIA, CISA, LSSBB, and/or ASA designation)
- Possess strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical and research abilities
- Basic knowledge of business processes, data analysis, and internal controls
- Strong technical skills in the areas of Finance and Accounting
- Have the ability to effectively use technology (Access, IDEA, and/or ACL programs a plus)
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Excellent leadership potential
- Have the ability to meet challenging client requirements
- Strict adherence to professional ethics
Working Conditions
- The typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations
- Travel for this position will be up to 50%
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout office
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30 - 50 pounds
- Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc.
