Position Overview:This onsite role involves preparing Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy petitions, meeting with clients to initiate their cases, preparing Chapter 13 plans, and representing clients at 341 meetings. As an integral part of our mission, this position demands a blend of legal acumen, a client-focused approach, and collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage prospective clients to facilitate their onboarding for bankruptcy and other debt-related consultations.
- Meticulously review and prepare bankruptcy petitions.
- Represent clients at 341 meetings.
- Prepare Chapter 13 plans and other related documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless case management.
Key Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Valid Florida Bar License
- Proficiency in utilizing the CM/ECF e-filing system.
- Demonstrable leadership and organizational skills.
- A fervor for aiding individuals in navigating financial adversities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Precision and a keen eye for detail.
- Aptitude for multitasking, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong legal research and writing abilities.
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous, though not mandatory.
