Job Description
- This is an Entry Level role no painting required for this position. We may be able to pay more depending on experience.
- Roush is seeking an Auto Body Technician in the Advanced Composites department.
- This Entry Level position provides daily production support for composites and paint operation requirements.
- Duties include identification of defects, prepping, filling, and feathering areas to prepare of paint.
- Will also including trimming composite parts.
- This is an opportunity to work on projects and materials to fabricate composite parts for industries such as, NASCAR, NHRA, marine applications, and theme park rides!
As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Surfacing prototype components and vehicles
- Working with a variety of materials to meet customer needs.
- Paying close attention to details and procedures to maintain high quality standards for painted parts.
- Reading, understanding, and complying with hazard labels, safety rules and regulations.
- Operating industrial pneumatic equipment (angle grinders, sanders, buffing wheels, etc.)
- Operating manual and power tools (drills, cut-off wheels, saws, Dremel's, etc.)
- Recording information as required
- Working as part of a team and as an individual
To be considered as an Auto Body Technician, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Auto Body or related field
- Strong attention to detail
- To be available to work overtime/weekends when needed.
- To be a self-starter and self-motivated
- To have good organizational skills
