National law firm seeks an attorney for its office in HOUSTON TX. This position is for Relocate.
Candidate will be needed in cases involving immigration law (we will train the candidate in immigration law). Courtroom experience strongly preferred (including trial advocacy courses and or through internships).
The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing.
Candidates must be thorough, able to work independently, and enjoy working with people.
Must be proficient in legal research, word processing and document databases.
Be able to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues.
Draft complex case matters including support letters, audit responses and appeals.
Organize, plan and schedule cases on priority basis.
Experience in immigration is a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish)
