We are seeking accounting professionals who are interested in public service and operating as accountants and analysts to increase government transparency!
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with a team of experienced auditors to conduct comprehensive financial and compliance audits of agencies, counties, universities, and community college districts.
- Apply the AICPA's generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. GAO's Government Auditing Standards, and other federal auditing requirements to ensure adherence to the highest auditing practices.
- Travel occasionally to different locations out of town to perform audits on-site.

- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate complex financial data and compliance records effectively.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships with team members and clients.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Preferred: SharePoint experience
