Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Application Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the installation, configuration, testing, and support of our ESB infrastructure. Our ESB system includes Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT), Oracle Database, Kafka Confluent Platform, and their integrations. You will provide essential expertise and guidance in integrated product team meetings to ensure successful implementation and deployment of ESB solutions.
Responsibilities:
Technical Documentation: Create technical and conceptual specifications for ESB, Database, Kafka components, and their integrations.
Operational Support: Provide support for internal ESB capabilities and external system components, focusing on continuous process improvement and automation.
Software Maintenance: Apply patches and upgrades to maintain functionality, security compliance, and vendor support.
Testing and Collaboration: Assist Testing and CM teams in functional/security and performance testing, and collaborate with developers, SMEs, and testers in Agile sessions.
Innovation: Work on defining topics, schemas, and routing, and improve performance and data quality in collaboration with various teams.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Active DoD SECRET clearance (SSBI/TS preferred).
Current Security+ accreditation.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
7-9 years of IT experience, with an emphasis on ERP systems.
3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka.
2+ years of experience with Oracle ESB/MFT in Linux/Solaris environments.
Strong scripting experience in Solaris/Linux.
1+ years of experience with SQL Compliant Database (Oracle preferred).
Excellent collaborative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and PeopleTools.
Proven track record in ESB deployment, especially in DoD environments.
Familiarity with SIPRnet, Cross Domain Guards, and various access controls within DoD Data Centers.
