Overview
This position will serve an integral role for the Central Health Enterprise by uncovering data-driven insights to better attract, develop, motivate, and retain our organization's most important asset - our people. This role will study and assess the organizations' workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using proven psychological principles and research techniques such as surveys, assessments, validation studies, measurement development, and researching peer-reviewed academic journal articles for relevant scientific findings. A deep understanding of advanced statistics (such as multivariate predictive analytics) and using proven scientific methods to identify, evaluate, and drive improvements is required for this position. This position is considered Remote, which means that individuals in this position may work at an approved Offsite location; however, they may be required to occasionally visit a Central Health office in Austin, Texas
This position is considered Hybrid, which means that individuals in this position may work both at an approved Offsite location and Onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on Business Needs.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
• Establishes positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Applies expertise in qualitative analysis, scientific research, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers to help identify the current state of various aspects of the organizations as well as what can be expected in the future. This will facilitate decisions based on data and therefore support the priorities of the Enterprise.
• Follows established scientific modeling and evaluation methodologies to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities, isolate problem areas and help develop solutions
• Responsible for performing or overseeing all organizational strategic analytics initiatives within HR, including delivery of the results in an impeccable manner regarding the visualization of the data
• In partnership with Talent Management, implements various organizational surveys and translates all findings into digestible, audience-specific communications and general recommendations to various stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Communicates statistical analyses and results, along with implications, to semi-technical and non-technical audiences; is adept at the ability to help the audience understand fully what the process was and how the conclusion was determined
• Creation and maintenance of various dashboards and reports for various stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• Is a resource for the department regarding Excel in helping other team members create any needed documents requiring advanced, non-typical formulas (or more simplistic formulas, and/or form/document development that falls outside the scope of the team member's knowledge). Also serve as a leader and mentor for other team members interested in the data side of HR.
• Maintains a strong working relationship with HR Leadership as most duties outlined throughout this JD will involve a critical partnership with frequent and productive communication, check-ins, guidance, idea discussions, program/policy development, etc.
• Participates in board and other meetings as directed to present results of critical studies and other assigned projects.
• Other assigned projects and tasks as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Advanced understanding of the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, most specifically, test/survey/assessment development, analysis, and validation;
• Ability to use complex statistical models to solve problems posed in analyses - such as factor modeling, structural equation modeling, multiple regression, Pearson's R, R2, Chronbach's Alpha, and Sum of Squares (mainly types I and III).l
• Excellent technical skills with ability to adapt and navigate systems efficiently.
• Skilled in communicating effectively with others in both verbal and written format.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to complete projects on or before date due.
• Strong analytical skills in compiling, interpreting and reporting data in desired format.
• Ability to utilize good judgement.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong MS Word, Outlook, OneNote, and advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or
related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• Four (4) years' experience in advanced statistical analysis of HR data and metrics, including expert-level Excel abilities, data visualization, and leading projects focused on organizational improvements via typical Industrial/Organizational Psychology methods. This involves such abilities as selection test validation, survey design, high-level predictive data analysis, reporting and action plan development, job analyses, diversity analysis, compensation system development and analyses, and
researching best practices in the I/O Psychology field.
• Four (4) years' experience using human resource information systems (HRIS)
• Two (2) years' experience with data visualization software, preferably Tableau
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Seven (7) years' experience in the fields listed above, including at least two (2) years' healthcare experience.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Senior HRCI and/or SHRM certification(s)
