Job description

Reporting to the Director, Architectecture & Process Excellence, you will be responsible for the development and design of complex business intelligence solutions. This role will lead the development of datasets, visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards. This position will also be providing technical support, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving BI related issues.
As part of your specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Analyze business intelligence needs and requirements and provides data storage, analytical, or reporting tools in response.
  • Tests storage and reporting solutions for functionality and integrity; troubleshoots and resolves errors.
  • Develops standard or custom reports, queries, or dashboards that access and consolidate information from a variety of data sources and provides ongoing support for data users.
  • Utilizes data mining techniques and develops data models to assist in the visualization and interpretation of data.
  • Partner with business leads to fulfill analytic and reporting requests as the domain data resource reference; you'll assist in creating and supporting a self-service style analytics platform among stakeholders.
  • Enhance our capability to analyze and "make sense" of large sets of data and translate findings in a visually appealing manner that tell a story and help Par make better data-driven decisions
  • Work with business partners to define and track KPIs and benchmarks, and aid in identifying and measuring successful and failing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and continue maintaining awareness and applicability of new and emerging BI tools and processes.

The Requirements
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the BI Developer opportunity, you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information systems, or related field
  • Seven years hands on experience in a business environment responsible for analysis and reporting
  • A proven ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to solve business problems, including:
    • A strong understanding of best practices in BW/BI data modeling
    • Experience with business warehouse (BW) data transfer, profiling, cleansing and consolidation.
    • Intermediate skills in Power BI or similar software
    • Experience building and defining reports
    • Advanced SQL and Excel Knowledge.
  • Experience with statistical tools and predictive analytics is highly desirable
  • Must have knowledge of SAP data structure.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Analytics. Preferred.
