About the Co-Op Program:
We are excited to bring eager, talented students on board and provide them with an unparalleled 6-month co-op experience. The Entegris Co-Op Program consists of real work experience, cross-functional learning and development opportunities, and a variety of social and volunteering events.
**This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) commitment from January - June 2024. Students should work with their academic advisors to determine eligibility to participate in a co-op and/or ability to receive school credit.**
Core Purpose:
The Enterprise Architecture Process & Operations Analyst co-op is responsible for providing support for the operations of the Enterprise Architecture practice by collaborating across the business leadership, IT applications, infrastructure, project management portfolio, etc. This role specializes in facilitating the practices of architecture, including architecture planning and development (capabilities planning), application & technology portfolio management, and solution architecture assurance. You are not expected to be an expert in these areas; with guidance from the director of architecture, you will facilitate and bring the right experts together to drive to completion and outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Support the design, deployment and effectiveness of Architecture Processes
- Build out metrics-driven reports to make improvements in solution outcomes
- Organize a community that supports processes and conversations to enable architecture practices throughout Entegris
- Facilitate the annual application & technology lifecycle plans with associated technical diagrams
- Facilitate the annual Application Communication (logical) diagrams for each major business area
- Participate in Capabilities planning that is incorporated into the Enterprise Portfolio Management Feasibility process (IT, Digital R& D, etc.)
- Support the Architecture practice by organizing projects that require Architecture involvement
- Facilitate Architecture Assurance meetings for projects/streamline the processes and templates
- Organize the Technology and Architecture Review Board agendas and line up topics
- Organize the Reference Architecture process (standards and exceptions) through documentation provided by others
- Arrange Architecture education/sharing to showcase innovative technologies
- Meet with Architects and other key stakeholders to capture use cases to capture prioritization of architecture needs
You're a good fit if you have:
- Previous exposure to IT applications and/or IT infrastructure
- Ability to facilitate/communicate across a wide spectrum from colleagues to IT leadership
- Proficiency in authoring, editing and presenting documents
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint/Teams
- Desire to learn across multiple workstreams
Desired Major & Graduation Date:
Can be a business major (strategy-focused), engineering (any), computer information services. Essentially, an individual that is willing to learn large segments of a business and specific strategies, processes and working with data and document management. Can be a Sophomore or Junior.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to manage and use applications on a PC
