Enterprise Architect

DSA is seeking a highly qualified Enterprise Architect with an active secret clearance to join our team in Edgewood, Maryland. This candidate will support our customer Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND). The (JPEO-CBRND) exists to manage our nation’s investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense equipment.

JPEO-CBRND leads, manages, and directs the acquisition, fielding and sustainment of sensors, protective equipment, medical countermeasures, specialized equipment for U.S. Special Forces, integration and information management systems, and defense enabling biotechnologies.
Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining one or more Department of Defense Acquisition Framework (DODAF) v2.0 data architecture products and/or Data Models within standard data modeling tools (ERStudio, Erwin, etc.).
• Possess experience with the UNICOM Systems Architect tool or No Magic Inc. MagicDraw Architect tool.
• Experience with either the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
• Experience with databases and Data Modeling
• Possess familiarity with Joint Common System Function List (JCSFL), Joint Common Architecture (JCA), Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR KPP), Universal Joint Task List (UJTL), and National Information Exchange Model (NIEM).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to assess and clearly communicate technical and project risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with JPEO-CBRND program-level architects to provide a consensus-based Enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable, and in synchronization with operational requirements.
• Developing DODAF architecture models in coordination with the program office and user sponsors such as Joint Requirements Office (JRO) and/or individual service and non-DOD sponsors.
• Assist with Data modeling
• Utilize architecture products to identify system dependencies and potential capability gaps.
• Provide input to support program and contract documentation (i.e., Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)).
• Government technical monitor, government technical subject matter experts and JPEO-CBRND program engineers in order to develop system-level architectures.
