We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Enterprise Architect to shape the future of our technology infrastructure and ensure it aligns with the company’s strategic growth. This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of healthcare systems, technology platforms, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity threats to design and implement robust and scalable enterprise platforms and solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the organization, optimizing the systems and platforms to drive operational efficiency, superlative support, and effortless experiences.
Position Responsibilities
- Strategic Technology Planning and Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives. Evaluate current technology platforms to develop and execute comprehensive technology architecture which drives organizational goals and scale.
- Identify and prioritize key areas for technology platform changes or improvements including operational efficiency, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
- Define and drive the implementation of Enterprise Architecture standards and best practices.
- Develop Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and creating project solution architectures.
- Provides guidance and leadership in developing GoHealth’s technical staff through a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Document, monitor, measure and assess the impact of architecture changes, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes and achieve desired results.
- Systems Design and Integration:
- Design, model, and implement enterprise-level systems and applications, ensuring interoperability and seamless integration across the healthcare ecosystem.
- Assess and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to support business needs.
- Create cost effective, dependable, available, and scalable design proposals by working collaboratively across the organization with senior business leaders, infrastructure teams, developers, security and compliance teams, and others as necessary.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on GoHealth’s strategic plan and ensure it include architecture solutions which align with our mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
- Ensure that enterprise technology solutions comply with healthcare regulations, applicable laws, and security requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response planning.
- Provide guidance and oversight for technology projects, ensuring that they align with the Enterprise Architecture and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers to address technical challenges and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to execute and align strategic priorities and ensure the proper allocation of resources occurs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for technology and strategic initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on transformation progress, project milestones, and architectural developments.
- Technology Evaluation and Innovation
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact and value to the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies that evolve GoHealth’s technical infrastructure and enhance efficiency, performance, and overall capabilities.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large healthcare IT organizations spanning multiple enterprise systems.
- In-depth knowledge of EHR platforms, interoperability standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong expertise in system design, integration, and architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare data management, privacy, and security considerations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms, Azure, Okta, and accompanying technologies
- Expertise in cloud services, software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), microservices, and API's
- Strong aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, strategic planning and evaluation, and financial/ROI analysis.
- Strong and deep technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations as well as strong domain knowledge on what is “best in class” digital experience for Enterprise products.
