Due to an exciting chapter of growth, we are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Account Director form the Event/Sales Enablement space to join our global team.
The Account Director is a field sales role responsible for both direct client contract value retention, as well as growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. The territory for this role includes large Enterprise Accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with an initial focus on new business sales while adopting a “land and expand” approach.
- Upselling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships
- Articulate our value proposition to ensure the business impact of the solution is understood by our client.
- Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by GDS Group’s products and services.
- Account management with an outcome of increased customer satisfaction and increase in retention and account growth.
- Mastery and consistent execution of GDS Group’s internal sales methodology.
- Proficient in account planning and understanding of territory management.
- Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
About you/Qualifications
- Experienced sales professional with demonstrable value/solutions selling experience at enterprise level within the events/sales enablement space.
- Track record of developing relationships with the ‘C’ or VP level business users to sell based on value.
- Proven, successful ability to sell enterprise technology or business solutions.
- New business experience coupled with strong account management and growth.
- 6-10 years external experience with validated value sales, with evidence of prior success.
- Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within large organizations.
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
- Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (c-level)
- Comprehensive understanding of the technology marketplace and technology provider go-to-market strategies
- Proven ability to understand client and prospect business and technology issues and provide solutions that align to the client’s requirements
