The Enrollment Director, in conjunction with the principal, leads the overall student enrollment process from inquiries through admissions into the school, ultimately enrolling new students and meeting the enrollment goals of the principal.

Candidate must be fluent in Spanish.

Ideal candidate will celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of Visitation BVM families. He or she will be proactive, dynamic, faithful, and experienced in enrollment. He or she must be a team player, self-motivated, organized and have exceptional communication skills. The candidate must exhibit a passion in articulating the mission of Visitation BVM to prospective parents and students. The Enrollment Director will work closely with the Administration, the Director of Operations, Board Committees and Families; and reports directly to the Principal.

Duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, recruitment, and retention of students with a set goal of students in mind.

Answer and follow all inquiries, calls, and emails.

Provide proactive follow up with unregistered students.

Assist families through the FACTS enrollment and financial aid process.

Prepare individual applications folder for admissions ensuring the file is complete for the student to start school.

Schedule school tours and interviews with prospective parents, and plan open houses.

Maintain enrollment and admissions database.

Create marketing materials to be distributed in various daycares, churches, and community centers to help increase enrollment.

Media relations including advertising and press releases in local newspapers, local media coverage of school events.

Use internal and external marketing efforts and initiatives to attract and retain students and enough to support the programs of the school.

Electronic communications including maintaining the school website.

Ability to become proficient in new programs and software very quickly.

Bachelor’s degree in related fields is strongly preferred.

· Experience in a parochial or not-for-profit environment preferred.

· Experience using social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook), WordPress, and Google.

Ability to work nights and weekends as the position dictates for Board and various committee meetings, and school events.

Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required such as:

• walking, sitting, standing, reaching.
• Must be able to sit for up to two hours looking at a computer monitor, using a keyboard/mouse and typing.

Other duties as assigned.

This is a 12 month, in an office position.
