Job Summary:
The Law Offices of Alyssa Maloof Whatley Tax Office is seeking an Enrolled Agent with prior Tax Resolution experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a current caseload of 90+ cases and resolving complex tax issues for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 90+ Tax Resolution cases and provide timely updates to clients and colleagues
- Review and analyze tax documents, financial statements, and other relevant information to identify and resolve tax issues
- Communicate with clients, the IRS, and other relevant authorities to negotiate payment plans, settle tax liabilities, and resolve disputes
- Prepare and file tax returns, extensions, and other necessary documents on behalf of clients
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients
- Stay up-to-date with changes to tax laws and regulations, and advise clients on their impact
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- To measure success in this role, the Enrolled Agent - Tax Resolution Specialist will be evaluated against the following KPIs:
- Caseload Management: Successfully manage a caseload of 90+ cases, meeting or exceeding established timelines and client expectations for resolution.
- Resolution Rate: Achieve a high rate of successful resolutions for tax-related issues, minimizing the impact of tax liabilities on clients' financial outcomes.
- Client Satisfaction: Consistently receive high ratings from clients for communication, responsiveness, and resolution outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in all tax filings and documentation.
- Revenue Growth: Contribute to revenue growth by identifying opportunities to expand services to existing clients and bringing in new clients through referrals or other means.
Requirements:
- Enrolled Agent designation
- Prior Tax Resolution experience with a proven track record of successfully managing large caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and relevant authorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex tax issues
- Proficiency in tax software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a large caseload effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
