Enhanced DSP

Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a job where you can assist an individual in their everyday life? If you think so then this may be the perfect part time position for you.

As an Enhanced Direct Support Professional, you will be providing direct support to a 30 year old individual who wants someone to help encourage and motivate her to reach her goals in communication, spending time away, and social interactions. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist her in going out into the community and finding volunteer opportunities.

Part time Hours

-2 hrs weekly with the possibility of going up to 4 hrs

-$22-$30 per/hr based on experience

-Flexibility in start and finish times

Experienced staff will:

-Participate in person centered growth and development based on the client’s goals.

-Be responsible for establishing and maintaining productive daily activities.

-Be social and outgoing.

-Experience with behavioral support plans.

-Patient, observant, attuned to behavior, able to anticipate challenges coming and redirect ahead of time.

-Give feedback on the individual's performance in accomplishing goals and objectives of the Individualized Support Plan (ISP).

-Training individualized to the client will be provided.

Requirements:

-Have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree

-Psychology, Education, or Special Education, Social Work

-Have at least 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional or equivalent.

-Have PPE, and First aid.

-Be 21 years of age or older.

-Have a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.

-Covid Vaccination or willing to be vaccinated, if vaccinated must have boosters
