```Duties``` - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students - Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening - Use effective teaching strategies to facilitate student learning and comprehension - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback - Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance instruction - Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional materials and strategies - Provide academic advising and support to students as needed ```Qualifications``` - Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Valid teaching certification or license in English or Language Arts - Proven experience in teaching English language skills to students of various levels - Strong knowledge of literacy education, grammar, and writing conventions - Familiarity with learning technology and research-based instructional practices - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in the learning process - Experience in curriculum development and assessment is a plus - Knowledge of behavior management techniques for maintaining a positive classroom environment - Experience in journalism or proofreading is beneficial We offer competitive compensation packages, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
