Together, let's help to advance the world of minimally invasive care. Roles & Responsibilities: Assists with all aspects of medical device instrument builds, including procurement of material, inspection of materials and subassemblies, rework of components, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of prototype instruments. Assembles devices per engineering design and instructions.
Assists engineers to fabricate and modify components using standard manufacturing processes and equipment, such as grinders, soldering station, and laser welder. Supports the debugging and performance testing of devices. Performs component and assembly inspections using standard metrology equipment, such as calipers and optical measurement systems.
Collects, records, and reports measurement and test data. Prepares prototype instruments and accessories for benchtop testing and pre-clinical lab evaluations. Supports the organization and maintenance of engineering lab and equipment.
Prior experience working in an FDA regulated environment strongly preferred. Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Intuitive through our direct sourcing partner, Raise who manages Intuitive's Contractor Talent Community. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Intuitive.
