Job Summary:
This is a 2nd Shift position which includes an 8% added pay differential.
The Advanced Products and Solutions division of Raytheon is seeking an Lead Technician to work on Circuit Cards used in Electro-Optical/Infrared(EO/IR) products in a factory production environment. This individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test.
The work assignment will be manufacturing support of the Multi-Spectral Targeting (MTS) system variants produced in the McKinney, TX Consolidated Manufacturing Center. This is a second shift role (start times can vary between noon to 4pm depending on business conditions) and standard workdays will be Monday through Friday. There will also be required weekend work approximately one day a month in support of a weekend rotation schedule.
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required, only U.S. citizens can acquire clearance.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Troubleshooting circuit card assemblies (CCAs) for use in EO/IR gimbaled systems
• Troubleshooting test equipment
• Repair and maintenance of test equipment
• Develop and improve testing of CCAs
• Work with the CCA shop to understand and obtain failure information
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting aids
• Work with rest of engineering team to improve troubleshooting of CCAs at the system level
Basic Qualifications:
• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
• Experience/knowledge in electrical engineering or related engineering field
• Experience reading drawings and/or memory maps, schematics, datasheets
• Experience in the use of standard electrical equipment such as an oscilloscope, function generator, power supplies, etc.
• Experience in circuit analysis
•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Solder certification
• Experience in fault isolation for electrical hardware
• Knowledge of common circuit components (Op-Amps, Multiplexers, H-bridge, ADC, DAC, etc.)
• Troubleshooting experience and/or knowledge in techniques such as: finding shorts on complex CCAs, evaluating solder joints, using x-ray for analysis, etc.
• Knowledge of how supervisor circuits work and are implemented
• Familiarity in CCA manufacturing and standard methods of build and test
• Knowledge of video standards, particularly coax, camera link, & 1394
