Position Overview:

As the Engineering Team Lead for our enterprise products, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our enterprise business and supporting restaurants ranging from small chains to large enterprises. You will lead our enterprise Engineering Team, driving technical excellence, innovation, and culture while aligning engineering objectives with business strategy.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Establish Technical Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with management to define new verticals, from product ideation to production and go-to-market strategies.
• Foster Innovation: Drive innovation within the company and ensure that engineering efforts are aligned with business and operational goals.
• Deliver Technical Excellence: Lead the development of high-quality products and robust architectures to support real-time operations.
• Define Metrics: Establish team and product metrics to facilitate rapid development cycles and measure success.
• Guide Team Growth and Culture: Cultivate a culture of empowerment, ownership, and impact within the team, and define hiring strategies to attract top engineering talent.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ Years of Software Engineering Experience: Strong background in software engineering, with experience in defining and developing technical products.
• Adaptability to Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact work environment with a focus on rapid iteration and deployment.
• Architectural Skills: Ability to architect and engineer robust solutions in ambiguous situations.
• Team Leadership: Proven track record of enhancing the effectiveness of team members.

Preferred Experience:

While not required, the following qualifications are desirable:

• Location: Based in NYC or open to relocation.
• Python Development: Experience building production applications in Python.
• Startup Experience: Familiarity with the fast-paced culture of early-stage startups.
• AWS Serverless Stack: Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, etc.
• Distributed Systems: Experience or familiarity with high-scale, distributed systems.
