Engineering Sr Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Sr Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Prototype, design, and deliver automated performance engineering and testing activities for micro services deployed in cloud-based platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Provide architecture and design solutions for performance engineering automated requirements using Java, Spring boot, Angular, Nodejs, Oracle and MongoDB. Research, analyze, design, develop, and test web and mobile software applications, and provide performance engineering solutions and recommendations. Responsible for performance benchmarking and certification of cloud and next generation platform technical stack components using LoadRunner and JMeter. Responsible for performance engineering and tuning of applications and systems by conducting continuous performance data analysis from production and non-production, identifying opportunities for improvements, and working with the development team to implement recommendations. Conduct profiling and code inspections for key applications using Yourkit. Analysis of performance impacted system components and related performance engineering solutions using JProfiler, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Wily. Develop critical feature functionalities for prototypes for software applications, design and code reviews, and testing of other functionalities developed by the team. Monitoring and tuning of the application servers and Database servers for performance improvement. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Tech Analyst, Performance Engineer, Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, Associate Architect or related position involving software engineering and development. 5 years of experience must include: Performance engineering and tuning of software applications and systems; Technical solutions design, development, and delivery for software applications; Source code control with Bitbucket, GIT, SVN, Maven, and CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins & RLM); Performance benchmarking using JMeter, LoadRunner and Performance center; Cloud computing and cloud-based software development architecture; Java/J2EE, Spring boot, Spring, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JMS/MQ, Web Services, Hibernate, DB2, Oracle, AngularJS, jQuery, MongoDB, Gemfire, MySQL & Junit; Systems engineering, applications and systems monitoring, alerting and analytics using AppDynamics, Wily, & Splunk; Application development, monitoring and tuning in Pivotal Cloud Foundry; and Agile based development and delivery using Jira & RTC.
