Engineering Process Technician, General Assembly Model Y

Tesla is seeking energetic and highlymotivated Engineering Process Technicians to join our production team. Thisposition is a key member of the process development, implementation andimprovement team which is focused on creating innovative process solutions toassemble the world’s best electric vehicles. You will have the opportunity tocontribute to all aspects of the process including man, material, method, andmachine. A strong drive to learn and apply new skills and acquire knowledgewill enhance your ability to be successful in this role.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, good organization, analytical and reasoning skills.
• Ability to create instructional material using written and pictorial materials.
• Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
• Able to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics as well as engineering drawings.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES

• Experience with operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency with power tools and good mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Experience interpreting manipulating and interpreting data.
• Knowledge in CAD and GD&T a plus.
