Are you an Engineering Manager from a test and measurement background looking to work for an exciting start-up company where you will have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers and progress into directorship.

My client are an exciting start up specializing in designing, integrating, and producing custom test systems in the energy, defense, aerospace and biomedical industries. Due to continued growth and product demand, they are looking for an Engineering Manager to help lead, drive and improve a team of highly skilled engineers.
In this role you will be required to manage a team of engineers from design, software, electrical and mechanical backgrounds. You will manage key projects to ensure all engineering requirements are met including time frames, budgets, and technical specifications are delivered. You will also help with redefining and maintaining software architecture methodologies and style guides. This will be a hands on management role and you will be required to provide technical contribution when needed.
This role would suit a self-motivated, Engineering Manager who is looking to lead a team of engineers on challenging projects for a rapidly expanding company offering structured progression to directorship and above.
The Position:
*Lead cross functional teams of 6-12 engineers.
*Manage full project life-cycle from initial requirements definition through customer delivery.
*Have a technical hands on approach when required.
*Mentor and develop junior and senior colleagues.
The Person:
*Experience working on and leading teams in software and hardware development and integration.
*Looking to be in a customer facing role.
*LabVIEW, C++, C, or Python software development experience.
*US Citizen.
