Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support on equipment projects
• Conceptualize mechanical design solutions
• Create of design layouts and detail drawings
• Perform tolerance studies and check design documentation
• Research and specify purchased component parts
• Create engineering reports documenting design efforts and results
• Work with operations to identify improvements and/or resolve manufacturing problems
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Declared a major in the following degrees or similar discipline:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
• Completed 24+ hours, 6 hours within core engineering classes
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations
• Previous internship or applicable work experience is a strong asset
• Must be US Citizen or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship
