The Engineering Intern will be responsible for performing laboratory experiments, executing test protocols, upgrading console software and firmware, analyzing data from test protocols and experiments, presenting results and other tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform tests following detailed approved hardware and software test protocols
- Supports R&D research, development and testing activities
- Documents verification and testing activities through executed protocols, lab notebook, technical reports and other records in accordance with Design Control and company procedures
- Collaborates with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical assistance
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Performs effectively in a team environment to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Able to be flexible with work time to accommodate company needs
- Other duties as required and assigned by management
- Study towards a BS or MS in electrical, mechanical or biomedical engineering
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools
- Data analysis skills using Excel, Matlab, R or similar tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good inter-personal skills
- Not afraid to ask questions or seek help
- Self-starter and able to work independently
