Engineering Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Engineering Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the engineering department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Organizing and maintaining a database of project-specific engineering documentation (customer requirements, sales orders, change orders, etc)
2. Reviewing existing machine manuals (hard and electronic formats) for content, typos, anything obvious that stands out and needs correction
3. Updating machine manuals based on markups or other direction from Engineering
4. Compiling / assembling / binding machine manuals in print form that include engineering layout drawings, BOMs, etc
5. Making ‘professional’ looking pdf versions of machine manuals that include clickable outline-type links
6. Working with Engineering to create and implement a system for change management of machine manuals
7. Supporting the After-Sales group with hard and electronic copies of legacy machine manuals upon request
8. Supporting Engineering with development of new engineering documents / forms
9. Editing work instructions for engineering documents
10. Editing engineering process flow diagrams
11. Supporting creation of and editing a new Uniloy Drawing Standards Manual
12. Occasional creation and maintenance of ‘show’ type graphical data such as renderings (Inventor, Photoshop, etc software)
13. Making and distributing meeting minutes for internal and customer meetings
14. Organizing and tracking status of Non Disclosure Agreements
15. Supporting After Sales group to develop service parts catalog
16. All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
· Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Comprehensive problem solving skills.
· Ability to build working relationships with external customers and with all levels of the organization.
· Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
· High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Environment:
Office / Manufacturing environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
This is an office-based position that requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, driving, reading, seeing, hearing, speaking, concentrating, and communicating.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per hour
