Seeking an Engineer to work on-site at the Office of Naval Research (ONR), in the Naval Air Warfare and Weapons Department, conveniently located in Arlington, VA - just one block from the Ballston Metro station. Use your Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering education to support Advanced Technology Development for the Navy.
The Naval Air Warfare and Weapons department supports the Navy's power projection needs, fostering the Technology Development of naval aircraft, structures, propulsion, autonomy, energetics, directed energy and electric weapons.
ADS Corporation offers a great opportunity for Engineers to learn Science & Technology program management skills, while helping government Program Officers to manage research investments in new weapons technologies being developed for the Navy and Marine Corps.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with an ONR Program Officer on planning, control of budget, schedule and task execution
Conduct research and provide administrative support to prepare correspondence, presentations, reviews, reports, responses to Congressional inquiries
Assist with the organization and coordination of program reviews and meetings
Support various efforts that involve interaction with other organizations in DoD, other federal agencies, academia and industry, including senior military, government and civilian personnel
