Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an EIT - Transportation for our Jackson, MS or Baton Rouge, LA office to provide quality planning, design and technical assistance to Discipline Manager and other members of design team in delivering projects within budgetary and time constraints.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Provide geometric roadway and traffic design using sound engineering principles, and engineering CAD software such as MicroStation.
- Assists in preparation of project plans, contract documents and technical specifications.
- Assist Discipline Manager in preparation of engineering studies and reports.
- Assists Discipline Manager in assuring quality control procedures are performed.
- Conducts project status review checking accuracy of work completed and monitors schedules and budgets relative to project progress and completion.
- Maintains and documents communication with clients throughout the completion of a project.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads and GEOPAK
- Knowledge and ability to use Deltek Financial and Project Management system
- Superior communication skills and in-depth knowledge of company products and operations
