Position: Entry Level Full-Time Engineer In Training (EIT)
Structural/Forensic Engineer
Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
· Work well with a team.
· Understand engineering concepts and processes.
· Collect field data and perform site observations.
· Input of data into pre-written computer programs.
· Operates computer and runs reports of calculations.
· Perform calculations, using formulas and skills.
· Researches code requirements for projects.
· Performs technical research.
· Prepares written reports of opinions and findings.
· Designs portions of a project under supervision.
· May prepare CADD generated drawings of designs he/she has originated.
· Direct the work of technicians that may be assigned to work under his/her supervision on projects.
· Must have reliable transportation.
Engineer Requirements and Qualifications
· Must have a Bachelor of Science in civil, structural or architectural engineering degree.
· Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CADD).
· Excellent communication skills.
· Problem solving abilities.
· Proficient writing skills.
· A strong work ethic.
