Job Description
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features.
- Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
- Assist in preparation of reports, specifications, plan creation, and permit applications for a civil engineering projects.
- Assist in client contact and communications.
- May include onsite construction observation duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with design team and clients.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible and self-motivated.
- Valid Driver’s License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary for project meetings and project management related activities.
