Engine Mechanic / Assemblers

Volt is immediately hiring multiple Engine Assemblers in San Diego, CA. These will be working on Gas Turbine Engines but anyone with any mechanic or mechanical assembly experience is ideal. We have both temp to hire and direct hire/perm openings.

As a Gas Turbine Engine Mechanic Assembler you will:

• Install mechanical components on gas turbine engines
• Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors
• Install hydraulic tubing
• Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations
• Cable harnessing and wire harnessing
• Follow blueprints and drawings
• Utilize hand tools

We are hiring for both 1st (6am – 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm – 11:30pm).

The ideal candidate will have:

• Mechanical assembly experience – layout, install, wiring, cable – anyone who has worked with wrenches
• Experience working on engines ( turbine or auto or aircraft or HVAC ) preferred
• Any mechanic experience - Auto mechanic or aviation / aircraft / shipyard or military experience ideal
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Experience using hand tools

Pay Rate: $25-25.75/hr.
