Engine Assembly / Tear Down – 1st and 2nd Shifts
Penmac Staffing is recruiting candidates for their Engine Assembly / Tear Down position with a local Remanufacturing company. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate on both 1st and 2nd Shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement.
Under the direct supervision of a supervisor, performs routine and non-routine production duties by carefully following written processes to assemble or disassemble an Engine or Engine components. The Engine Tear Down pays $16.00 per hour, with the following shifts available:
1st shift: Monday through Friday, 4:45 am – 3:15 pm
2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 3 pm – 1:30 am ($0.50 shift differential)
Responsibilities can include:
*Select proper tooling to disassemble turbo
*Set up and operate special equipment such as torque tools (automated and manual)
*Report defective materials, equipment, or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor to identify and correct the root cause
*Maintain a clean and orderly work area for safe operation as well as customer presentation
Requirements include:
*Standing 90% / Walking 10%
*Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs required
*Walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear
*Required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements
