Who we are looking for:

LSI has an immediate opportunity for an Engagement Project Manager to join our business development team.  The Engagement Project Manager is responsible for successful execution of project and engagement deliverables as outlined in the statement of work. They manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk. This position handles client and project expectations and schedules serving as the day-to-day client contact and relationship manager and regularly facilitates well organized and productive meetings to develop strategies and action plans between internal delivery and corporate staff and/or client stakeholders based on company and client deliverables.  Duties include but are not limited to:

• Lead interdepartmental teams to complete multiple assigned projects and engagements on time to specifications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Develop existing client relationships drive revenue growth and strengthen connection within a client organization.
• Outlines tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Conduct cost analysis estimating expected costs for the project and prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
• Proactively track and communicate status risks issues and opportunities as appropriate provide recommendations for mitigation or development to both client and internal project teams simultaneously from multiple engagements.
• Act as liaison between company customers and vendors to address questions concerns and or complaints throughout the project.
• Communicate and collaborate with sales and operations teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects programs systems and services and implement new and improved process and procedures from sales through delivery.
• Provide strategic and tactical leadership to both external clients and internal project teams.
• Identify and leverage team members skill sets and strengths for efficient teamwork and quality deliverables.
• Continuously learn new tools to improve how we work and deliver on client objectives contribute thought leadership through experience and ensure compliance with federal state local industry contractual and company regulations standards specifications and best practices.
• Perform other duties assist with other projects and revise project processes or deliverables if necessary.
• Travel when necessary (10%).

This position is located at LSI's Corporate office in Layton Utah.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field supporting business development economic development social impact supply chain and logistics computer science or business.
• At least three years of related experience required.
• Experience with government acquisition and/or grant lifecycles desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about projects and products being developed.
• Optimistic results focused and able to motivate others.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Successfully pass a drug and background screen.
